Herizon was born from lived experience.
As a first-generation immigrant woman, our founder understands that building a new life in the United States can be both hopeful and deeply challenging. Many immigrant women, international students, first-generation college students, and women beginning new chapters in America face real barriers — language barriers, culture shock, financial hardship, stereotypes, racial discrimination, unfamiliar systems, and employment challenges, including visa sponsorship requirements and limited professional networks.
These challenges affect not only education and career development, but also confidence, belonging, safety, and the ability to imagine a future with dignity.
Herizon was created to respond to these needs with care, guidance, and community. We aim to provide women across New England with mentorship, education, career support, resource navigation, and a trusted network where they can be seen, heard, and supported.
For women walking through uncertain transitions, Herizon hopes to be a light in the dark — a place that offers direction, warmth, and connection as they pursue their own version of the American dream.
