Through cultural participation in Boston’s Chinese community, Yuting has connected with local arts organizations such as Chu Ling Dance Academy, a Boston-based dance academy with a long history of public performances, including Boston First Night. These experiences reflect Herizon’s belief that culture, belonging, and public participation are important parts of community empowerment.
Chinese-speaking members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gathered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, reflecting a community of faith, fellowship, and mutual support.
Through gatherings such as Thanksgiving meals, Chinese New Year celebrations, dumpling-making activities, and scripture-centered fellowship, Chinese-speaking Latter-day Saint members in the Boston area have built a faith-based community rooted in belonging, service, cultural connection, and mutual support.
Herizon was founded from a simple belief: women should not have to navigate new countries, schools, careers, languages, and life transitions alone. Many first-generation immigrant women, international students, and first-generation college students carry courage, talent, and responsibility, but often lack the support systems needed to thrive. Herizon Inc. was created to offer a space of belonging, practical guidance, and community care.
